08/30/2015: An explosive device detonated near a Turkish National Police (EGM) vehicle in Silopi district, Sirnak province, Turkey. At least one officer was killed and four others were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
