08/24/2015: Assailants abducted a Supreme Committee for Elections Media Department journalist in Sanaa, Amanat Al Asimah, Yemen. The whereabouts of the journalist, Muhammad al-Azizi, were unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Houthi extremists (Ansar Allah).
