Incident Summary:

08/22/2015: Assailants threw two grenades at the residence of S Chungosei Aimol and simultaneously opened fire on a civilian residence nearby Ngairong village, Manipur state, India. S Chungosei Aimol, the former village chief, was not harmed, but Wanunglou Aimol, a civilian, was killed and at least one other person was injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM).
