08/01/2015: Assailants detonated explosives and opened fire on a military convoy near Nampala town, Segou region, Mali. Two soldiers were killed and at least four were injured in the attack. Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources also attributed the attack to Front de Liberation du Macina (FLM).
