08/01/2015: An explosive device detonated near military personnel in Kagizman-Igdir-Erzurum highway area, Kagizman district, Kars province, Turkey. One soldier was killed and two other people, a civilian and a soldier, were wounded in the blast. The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) claimed responsibility for the incident.
