07/21/2015: Assailants abducted journalist Ruqia Hassan Mohammed in Raqqah, Syria. Mohammed was executed sometime in September, 2015. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that Ruqia Hassan Mohammed was accused of spying.
