Incident Summary:

07/20/2015: Assailants opened fire on North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) helicopters in Baraki Barak district, Logar province, Afghanistan. The helicopters returned fire, inadvertently bombing an Afghan National Army (ANA) checkpoint. Seven soldiers were killed and five others were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
