Incident Summary:

07/15/2015: A suicide bomber attempted to detonate an explosives-laden vehicle at a military outpost along Qattamiya-Suez road, Suez governorate, Egypt. The suicide bomber was killed when security forces opened fire. The Sinai Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in retaliation for the military killing six of its members a year prior to the attack.
