07/14/2015: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated outside of a doctor's residence in Khalis town, Diyala governorate, Iraq. At least five people were killed and 11 people were injured in the blast. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that they were targeting Shia militia members.
