07/05/2015: Assailants kidnapped 111 children and detained 78 of their parents in Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), stating that the children were going to be trained to be ISIL fighters.
