07/02/2015: An explosive device detonated near a security checkpoint in Khanasah village, Diyala governorate, Iraq. At least one Sahwa Council member was killed and four other members were injured in the blast. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack.
