Incident Summary:
06/15/2015: Assailants and suicide bombers driving explosives-laden vehicles attacked the Ajil oil field in Albu Ajil, Saladin governorate, Iraq. This was one of two coordinated assaults on oil fields in the area on the same day. Security forces repelled the attacks, killing 28 assailants. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
