06/13/2015: Assailants detonated an explosive device and attacked the office of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in Catbalogan City, Samar province, Philippines. One inmate was killed and three jail officers were wounded in the raid. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
