06/13/2015: Assailants opened fire on the convoy of Rao Anwar in Malir Cantonment area, Karachi city, Sindh province, Pakistan. Anwar, a senior superintendent of police (SSP), was unharmed, although two assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, a subgroup of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
