Incident Summary:
06/10/2015: An assailant attempted to seize a private residence belonging to a Druze community member in Qalb Lawzah village, Idlib governorate, Syria. This action led to a clash between the assailant and community members. At least 21 people, including an assailant, were killed and an unknown number of others were injured in the attack. Al-Nusrah Front claimed responsibility and apologized for the incident.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
