Incident Summary:

05/20/2015: An assailant opened fire on a United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) residential compound in Bamako city, Bamako Capital District, Mali. The assailant also threw two grenades that failed to detonate and attempted to set fire to a vehicle in front of the compound. A civilian guard was wounded in the attack. Ansar al-Dine (Mali) claimed responsibility for the incident.
