05/16/2015: Assailants abducted Ravi Shankar Sunkari from Kolsegudam village, Gadchirol district, Maharashtra state, India. Sunkari, a former special police officer, was killed and his body was discovered on May 20, 2015. Maoists claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that Sunkari was targeted because they believed he was a police informant.
