05/09/2015: An explosive device detonated and assailants opened fire on a military vehicle in Timbangan village, Maguindanao province, Philippines. Three soldiers and five assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM).
