Incident Summary:

05/05/2015: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at a joint checkpoint in Subayhat area, Al Anbar governorate, Iraq. In addition to the bomber, at least two soldiers and volunteer fighters were killed and four soldiers and fighters were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
