05/03/2015: Assailants abducted Laminthang Kipgen in Tuzang Vichong area, Kangpokpi district, Manipur state, India. Kipgen, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate, was released a short time later. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, a source suspected that the Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA) carried out the abduction.
