05/01/2015: At least three assailants opened fire on a vehicle carrying police personnel in Gulshan-i-Hadeed area, Karachi city, Sindh province, Pakistan. Three police officers, including a deputy superintendent of police (DSP), were killed in the assault. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that it carried out the attack in retaliation for the killing of fellow members in Karachi and military operations in Khyber agency.
