Incident Summary:

03/16/2015: Assailants kidnapped five Hazara civilians, including four Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers, in Kansak, Farah province, Afghanistan. Four of the hostages were rescued the following day. The whereabouts of the fifth victim are unknown. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban and the Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State.
