03/11/2015: An assailant opened fire on a guard tower at the Iraqi Armed Forces Base in Bismaya, Diyala governorate, Iraq. A soldier from the United States was injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
