02/17/2015: Assailants fired mortars that landed and detonated in Tishreen neighborhood, Aleppo city, Aleppo governorate, Syria. This was one of five attacks in different neighborhoods of Aleppo on the same day. At least eight people were killed and 30 others were injured across all five incidents. No group claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
There must be evidence of an intention to coerce, intimidate, or convey some other message to a larger audience (or audiences) than the immediate victims.
