01/17/2015: Assailants kidnapped the Yemeni President's chief of staff and two of his guards at a checkpoint in Sanaa city, Amanat Al Asimah governorate, Yemen. The chief of staff, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, was released on January 27, 2015, and his guards were released on January 29. Huthis claimed responsibility for the incident.
