Incident Summary:

01/03/2015: Assailants opened fire on a Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) base in Baga town, Borno state, Nigeria. At least 35 people, including 11 soldiers and 24 assailants, were killed and an unknown number of others were injured in the assault. The assailants also took control of the military base. This was one of six coordinated attacks by the same group in Kukawa district on this date. Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the incidents.
