12/23/2014: Assailants attacked a doctor and his family in Wadi Jarif area, Sirte district, Libya. The doctor and his wife were killed in the attack, and his daughter was abducted; she was found dead in Sirte on December 25, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Ansar al-Sharia (Libya).
