Incident Summary:

12/20/2014: Assailants attacked the Syrian Armed Forces (SAF) Airbase near Deir ez-Zor city, Deir Ezzor governorate, Syria. At least 22 people, including two soldiers and 20 assailants, were killed and an unknown number of others were injured in the incident. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
