Incident Summary:

12/04/2014: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near the Syrian Armed Forces (SAF) Al-Masemekeh Building outside of Deir ez-Zor city, Deir ez-Zor governorate, Syria. In addition to the bomber, at least 26 people, including 19 soldiers and eight assailants, were killed in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
