12/04/2014: Assailants opened fire on the residence of T.G. Momin in East Garo Hills district, Meghalaya state, India. Momin, a senior police officer, was unharmed, although the outer walls of his residence were damaged in the attack. Additionally, an explosive device was discovered and defused at the scene. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Garo National Liberation Army.
