12/03/2014: Assailants kidnapped 16 members of the Albu Nimr tribe in Hit district, Al Anbar governorate, Iraq. The bodies of the victims were discovered on December 6, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
