Incident Summary:

12/01/2014: Assailants opened fire on Saad Malook in Spin Boldak district, Kandahar province, Afghanistan. Malook, an Afghan Border Police (ABP) commander, was not harmed, but three of his bodyguards and an assailant were killed, while one guard was wounded in the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
