11/25/2014: An explosives-laden rickshaw detonated near a police vehicle in Korangi neighborhood, Karachi city, Sindh province, Pakistan. At least one civilian was killed and at least six others were wounded in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, police attributed the blast to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
