11/22/2014: An explosive device detonated targeting a joint checkpoint in Khanasah village, Diyala governorate, Iraq. One person was killed and five people were injured in the blast; the victims included Sahwa Council members and soldiers. Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
