11/21/2014: Assailants kidnapped two people in Hawijah district, Kirkuk, Iraq. The captives were executed in a market on the same day. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that the victims were targeted because the group believed that they were "collaborators and renegades."
