11/16/2014: Assailants killed five family members and kidnapped a sixth family member in an unknown location in Iraq. The outcome for the kidnapped victim, a young girl, is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), stating that the family had objected to the marriage of their daughter, the abductee, to an ISIL member.
