11/13/2014: Assailants opened fire on a military patrol in Senator Ninoy Aquino town, Sultan Kudarat province, Philippines. Four assailants were killed and one soldier was injured in the ensuing firefight. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the New People's Army (NPA).
