11/09/2014: A suicide bomber detonated an explosive device at police headquarters in Kabul city, Kabul province, Afghanistan. The attack targeted the police chief, who was unharmed; however, in addition to the assailant, the police chief's office manager was killed and six other people were wounded in the blast. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
