11/08/2014: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at a security checkpoint in Ramadi city, Al Anbar governorate, Iraq. In addition to the bomber, five soldiers were killed in the blast and the ensuing clash. Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
