Incident Summary:

10/27/2014: A suicide bomber in an explosives-laden vehicle detonated at a security checkpoint near Jurf al-Sakhar region, Babil governorate, Iraq. In addition to the bomber, at least 21 soldiers and volunteer fighters were killed and 24 more were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) was involved.
