Incident Summary:

10/18/2014: Assailants abducted Shivkumar Sidar from a passenger bus in Sukma district, Chhattisgarh state, India. Sidar, a Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) constable, was killed a few feet away from the bus. The Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist) claimed responsibility and apologized for the attack.
