10/14/2014: Assailants opened fire on Mohammad Anwar Khan in Nad Ali district, Helmand province, Afghanistan. Khan, the chief of Nad Ali district, and two of his bodyguards were killed and six police officers were wounded in the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
