Incident Summary:

10/12/2014: Four assailants attempted to plant an explosive device in Giro district, Ghazni province, Afghanistan. One of the assailants was killed when police officers opened fire after spotting them, while the other three assailants were killed when the device detonated prematurely as they were attempting to remove the dead assailant's body. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Taliban.
