10/04/2014: Assailants attacked security checkpoints in Balad city, Saladin governorate, Iraq. At least two Shia fighters were killed and five more fighters were injured in the attack. Al-Naqshabandiya Army claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
