09/24/2014: Assailants opened fire on a convoy of volunteer forces in Babilan village, Diyala governorate, Iraq. At least 19 volunteers were killed and 39 other people were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
