09/17/2014: Assailants opened fire on an Indian Police Service (IPS) patrol near Santoshpur village, Chhattisgarh state, India. There were no reported casualties in the assault but two assailants were apprehended. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Maoists.
