Incident Summary:

09/17/2014: Assailants opened fire on a Nigerian Armed Forces patrol van that was crossing a bridge between Fadan Karshi and Karshi Daji villages in Kaduna state, Nigeria. At least one soldier was killed and four others were injured in the assault. This was one of four attacks carried out by the same group of assailants in Sanka local government area on this night. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to Fulani militants.
