09/16/2014: An explosive device, planted in the vehicle of Ismael Abdullah, detonated in Cotabato city, Maguindanao province, Philippines. Abdullah, a university professor, was unharmed; however, five people were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) was involved in the attack.
