09/10/2014: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at a police checkpoint in New Baghdad area, 9 Nissan neighborhood, Baghdad city, Baghdad governorate, Iraq. Five police officers were killed and nine others were injured in the blast. This was one of two coordinated bombings in the same area within a few seconds. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
