Incident Summary:
09/09/2014: Assailants attacked joint North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Afghan National Army (ANA) forces in Badel area, Kunar province, Afghanistan. During the ensuing clash, NATO air assistance was called in for the security forces. At least six people were killed and 10 others were injured in the clash. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
